you say goodbye... I say hello!

I have neglected a lot of things over the last 6 months- including, but not limited to- this blog!
SO much has gone on. Our house sold (quickly!) and we once again found ourselves house hunting with the pressure to find something that met our budget, plus our needs vs wants list. But it happened! we searched, we found, and with only a few hiccups along the way we moved in at the end of July. I have been working hard to be the best nurse I can be, and am DAILY learning what that looks like. J's contract ended at the end of August, but he continued to drive to FC for work while he searched for the right job in our new city.  Finally, just after Thanksgiving he started a new job with the same company, transferring to the local office, and working with a new grant program. We celebrated our first Christmas in our new home hosting a dinner with friends, some of my family on Christmas day and a visit from J's family a few days after.

Life since graduation- and 2014 in general- has been a whirlwind of fun, challenges and changes.
2015 has promise of some of the same, and much that is unknown! i have finally come up with my word for 2015.
WHOLE.
2.containing all the elements properly belonging; complete:

3. undivided; in one piece:

5. not broken, damaged, or impaired; intact:

6.uninjured or unharmed; sound:

7.pertaining to all aspects of human nature, especially one's physical, intellectual, and spiritual development:

I want to focus on keeping a balanced, whole life. Keeping my physical strength comparable to my spiritual health. I want to work on areas of weakness, flaws- bringing them into alignment my strengths so that I can serve as a WHOLE person.  not that i will seek or attain perfection, but that improvement, is always possible. so here's to 2015. here's to being whole. and being better.
